In real life, I’m Pamela J. Starr (no relation to Belle, Bart, Brenda, Ringo or Ken. Okay, yes, Ken Starr* was my father) and I have been a paralegal all of my adult life. It all started a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) … in 2008, I started my own company, SᴛᴀʀʀParalegals, LLC. As a virtual paralegal I am able to fully utilize the Internet and e-access to accomplish tasks that are often performed from an office-bound desk. My services allow attorneys to maintain an image of professionalism, as well as their bottom line, by outsourcing paralegal duties.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with BA in Political Science (and minors in Psych & and Classical Civ); attended Southwestern Paralegal Institute in Houston – one of the first ABA approved paralegal certification programs in the US – and graduated (what was referred to at the time) as a certified paralegal; earned my credentials as a Certified Bankruptcy Assistant (“CBA”); and in 2012 & 2016, respectively, , received a Master of Science of Law (“J.S.M.”), cum laude, in Bankruptcy & Restructuring/E-commerce from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a Master of Arts in Training and Development (“MATD”), summa cum laude, from Roosevelt University
I’m an active member of GAP, NFPA, ABA GPSolo Division, and the Association of Bankruptcy Judicial Assistants and currently serve as NFPA’s Ethics Board Chair. Many consider me an SME (subject matter expert) on: ethics, e-filing, working virtually, life after paralegal school, and DMCA with articles and interviews featured in ABA GPSolo Magazine, National Paralegal Reporter, Paralegal Today, Law Technology News, and the Fulton County Daily Report (and lots of snarky posts and rants here, on FB and LinkedIn …).

I’ll explain … I help experienced paralegals convert their brick & mortar, traditional paralegal careers for the ‘be your own boss’ life of a virtual/freelance paralegal, all for a moderate fee.
